We realized that Malieakal's massive bank of positive Google reviews was a goldmine for building trust. We proposed celebrating this milestone as part of the Onam promotion. The 15,000+ Google review celebration became a key message in our marketing campaign, tying it into the exciting offers for Onam.
Influencer Marketing Strategy
With a limited time frame, we suggested a highly focused influencer marketing strategy to generate buzz. We collaborated with a local influencer from Kollam who was well-known and respected by the target audience. We planned for a total of 5 videos:
One main video: This video featured a detailed showcase of Malieakal Electronics' shop, offers, and the 15,000+ Google reviews. It was posted on both the influencer's page and Malieakal Electronics' page through a collaboration.
Four product-specific short videos: These videos focused on different product offers and were used exclusively for Meta ads.
Meta Conversion Campaigns
Since time was of the essence, we focused on Meta conversion campaigns to drive traffic directly to WhatsApp, where the sales team could engage leads. We invested ₹95,000 in the Meta ad campaign and targeted a 30 km radius around Kollam to ensure that the audience was locally relevant.
The campaign featured both the main influencer video and the short product videos. These videos helped create buzz, and within days, sales inquiries started pouring in.
Post-Onam Campaign and Retargeting
The initial Onam campaign was a success, but we didn't stop there. After Onam, we ran a post-Onam campaign for 10 more days, offering extended deals. For this campaign, we retargeted the audience that had engaged with our videos during the initial phase. This allowed us to re-engage those who showed interest but hadn't yet made a purchase.
Our marketing efforts paid off with impressive results
The client invested around ₹2 lakhs in total, which covered influencer fees, marketing expenses, and Meta ad spending. The return on investment was exceptional, proving that our strategy worked effectively within the short Onam period.
